The 2007 session will start on June 8th and commence for eight weeks. Through presentations by recognized leaders in higher education and business leaders, the Institute offers participants the opportunity to explore and analyze the leadership challenges stemming from the changing context. The program will pay special attention to the implications of the growing power of information technology to transform the means of our society. At the same power, we will explore the human capital segment of leadership. A major benefit of the Fruition Leadership Institute (FLI) is the opportunity for extensive interaction among colleagues from diverse backgrounds. This interaction both enriches participants' experiences and helps shape a new generation of leaders who will motivate, inspire, and demonstrate the ability to transform information resources in the twenty-first century. |

The Fruition Leadership Institute includes conventional coursework as well as experiential learning. Most classes employ a problem-based instructive model in which students are required to complete group and individual tasks that are designed to reflect the "real" life of their work. All courses emphasize a theory to practice connection, and most courses are co-facilitated. Often, persons from practice and industry are invited to make presentations and/or provide feedback to candidates when they present. Although the program schedule is intensive, those completing the FLI indicate that the rigorous content and multiple experiences assure them of solid preparation for a leadership role.

The cost of the Fruition Institute is much greater than the fee any participant will pay because the Institute is heavily subsidized from grants and support of the Institute's sponsors.
The only charge to participants is $4,500. |
