Resource Management
Every
project will have use of certain resources (labor and management
personnel, equipment, materials, facilities, finances, etc.), in order
to carry out task requirements. Since all resources are limited, the
objective is to persuade the owners of these resources to commit the
necessary amounts to the project. This, of course, assumes the owners
are both capable and willing to commit those resources. We believe in
motivating the project stakeholders to commit the resource and assist
with resource identification and allocation as well as identifying
acceptable alternative solutions.
Monitoring
The project is monitored very closely to ensure smooth and timely
progress. Periodic code reviews and process reviews are conducted to
provide a high quality of deliverables to ensure client
satisfaction. Change requirements in the project are analyzed and
discussed with the client. Necessary corrective measures are derived
and reflected in the project plan. Progress of the project is
communicated to the client on a regular basis in the form of a
project status report.
Organizational Structure
An individual must be given responsibility for the project. This
“project manager” must fulfill the project objectives within the
constraints specified by the management of the parent organization.
It is very important to ascertain if the project strategy developed
can function effectively through the decision-making and information
channels of the present organization. Fruition Consulting, Inc.
employs an approach that empowers the project manager and the
organization through information dissemination and analysis to make
effective decisions.
